Pagani has released official images of its highly anticipated supercar Huayra. Car is powered by a Mercedes AMG built 6.0-litre V12 twin turbo engine, capable to putting out 700 horses and more than 1000Nm of torque. The top speed for the car is said to be in the region of 370km/h. Now if you have so much power and only 1350 kgs of weight, you could be quite sure to go from 0-100 km per hour in less than 3 seconds. While the Huayra looks like a rocketship from the outside, from the inside, it is done up in classy, rich interior bits. There is an old world charm about the leather draped interior of the Huayra. There is exposed aluminium and then there is lots of carbon fibre to delight all those new age speed nuts. To make this marriage of class and modernity work in perfect harmony you have some natty blue backlit gauges and multi-function displays for navigation and communication. 14 More images after the break...

How Morgan Cars Are Made Out of Wood
The Morgan Motor Company located in Britain doesn’t change in a changing world. Not only it is still independent, but it also makes each car by hand. A base model is about $44,000, but some cars cost up to $300,000. And people wait for over a year to get their exclusive hand-built cars with the shell made out of metal and much of the vehicle made out of wood. Working on the wood interior, workers use metal shears to individually shape a hood because each car has to be different. Every year Morgan produces about 600 cars. The company will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2011. It has a long interesting history, because it is still run by the same family the Morgans. Founded by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan known as “HFS”, it was then ran by his son Peter, and now it is run by Charles, the son of Peter Morgan. More images after the break...

1948 Buick Streamliner by Norman E. Timbs
The 1948 Buick Streamliner by Norman E. Timbs is a muse in the world of classic cars, an automobile from a time when curvy was most desirable in the eyes of men. Looking at a car like this makes one lament the slim, simple direction human attraction has gone, when the cars and cover girls leave plenty to be desired in the most important aesthetic quality– shape. This classic Buick Streamliner is in pristine condition, restored by Dave Crouse for the 2010 Concours d’Elegance. Its original construction took over two years, built with an aluminum body around a steel chassis. Not only is it unlikely you’ll ever see this beauty on the road, it’s likely that you’ll never see it on the auction block. A car like this is far too rare, too beautiful that any owner could ever want to pass it up– no matter the price. More images after the break...

Ferrari 430 Scuderia - Car

- The new Ferrari 430 Scuderia will join the road-going V8 line-up alongside the F430 coup and the F430 Spider. The 430 Scuderia is a truly high-performance 2-seater berlinetta which demonstrates how Ferrari's Formula 1 know-how is carried across to its production cars.
- The new model is a special series based on the F430 and is aimed specifically at Ferrari's most passionate and sports-driving oriented clients. Development focused on light weight, minimum trimmings and innovative technology. All this to exalt the car's extremely high-performance and ability to thrill the driver.
- The new car can count on an extremely low weight-to-power ratio of just 2.45 kg per hp thanks to a low dry weight of just 1250 kg - 100 kg less than the F430 - and to the naturally-aspirated 4308cc V8's 510 hp at 8500 rpm.
- Superb performance both on and off the track is assured by a series of cutting-edge solutions. There is the latest software - F1 Superfast - which reduces gearchange times to just 60 milliseconds, and new traction control which, for the first time, combines the E-Diff electronic differential and the F1-Trac traction and stability control in a single integrated system.
- Vehicle dynamics, control and performance thus represent the zenith of Ferrari's achievements in terms of developing road-certified sports cars.
- The 430 Scuderia will be officially unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 2007.
